  • Changing the Director Admin password

    This seems like something that should be simple, but I can't for the life of me figure this one out. Our shoretel director (ShoreTel 9.2 Build 14.41.1108.0) is still set up with the default "Admin\changeme" password to log into the web interface. How do I go about changing this?

    Under system paramaters->other there are fields for both "admin" and "root" passwords, but changing these does not change what I mention above.

    You need to assign another user to the System Administrator role. Once you have done so, the built-in admin/changeme account disappears.
