  • 76 Phantom Messages?

    We have a strange issue with workgroup voice mail...

    We have many people who are each agents of multiple workgroups. Call Manager is displaying "76 Unheard Workgroup Messages..." However, when any agent checks for messages on any of the workgroups, there are none. Does anyone know why Call Manager would show 76 unheard when there are actually none?

    To clarify, this notification appears on Call Manager for all workgroup members. When checking the actual mailboxes, there are no unheard messages.

      I've seen that once with a WG queue. The Call Manager indicator was wrong, but the user could dial into the workgroup voicemail and check the real message's. When I checked on the user a couple hours later, the problem had disappeared.

        I have restarted the services, even rebooted the server, and the workgroup agent Call Manager is still showing 74 unheard messages. It appears this is not a common problem?
