  • PCM on XP Embedded

    How do I accomplish installing PCM on XP Embedded SP2 Wyse V90 terminal!?!?!!? It's driving me crazy!

    I don't think XPe supports TAPI. That's probably not going to work.

      XPe does support TAPI and I have run PCM 8.1 on an XPe machine from HP. Don't have any ideas specific to your circumstance, however.

        Is it a component that is available by default or does it have to be added?

          Since everything in XPe is componentized, I would imagine this depends on who built the XPe image. The HP had it by default, but it did not have DirectX, which is required for PCM since video support was added. HP provided a patch to add it.
