  • Call Manager extension reassignment

    Can you do it? Change the extension? Or do you uninstall and reinstall it?

    In Call Manager:

    Tools > Options > Telephony > Enter Username of new extension.

    Click OK, you'll get an error, ignore it. Close out Call Manager Completely and Log Off or Reboot the machine. (Sometimes Logging Off works, sometimes it doesn't)

    When you log back in, run the Call Manager. It should prompt you for the Password of the new User (default is 'changeme').

      It always seems so obvious after someone tells you how to do it.
