IP Phone Display "Announcement"

In the ShoreWare Director administration, under IP Phones / Options, you can change the "IP Phone Announcement" text which is supposed to be displayed on the IP phones. However, since the system was installed, the phones (all IP110) only cycle the display of "ShoreTel" and the extension #. The phones have all been rebooted many times since installation a few months ago. Does the server need to be rebooted for this to take effect? Or is there something we can add to the config file like we did for the custom ring tones?

You need to have phones with large screens to take advanatage of this. Example phones are : IP530 and IP560. The IP265 does it but only when you go off hook I believe...

In the administration guide, it says the message displays on all IP phones except the IP210.

Our 110's do not show the name either. The screen is so small I would assume that it would not show by design.
