Are you referring to the line appearance buttons (buttons to the right of the screen) or the softkey buttons at the bottom of the screen? You can't change the actual softkeys (the buttons on the bottom of the screen). You can program the line appearance buttons. This is done via the program ip phone buttons under the personal options section of a user's profile.

Oooh, I'd also love to know the answer to this. Being able to program those softkeys would be HUGE.
