        http://www.shoretelforums.com/downloads/audio.zip

        These are 3 of mine.

        #1: DeeDeeDee: Carlos Mencia
#2: Office: Theme song to 'The Office' TV show
        #3: StarTrek: Theme song

These were originally MP3's or WAV's that I converted to the correct format for the phones.

        Enjoy,
        Charles

How to change the ring tones

Anyone have the correct instructions on how to change the Ring Tones. I just can't seem to get it to work.

              Assigning Ring Tones

We have all 560 phones, and I wanted a new ring on all of them (Default). I edited the s6custom.txt file and made it contain (internal and external ring on slot 1):

              # Please consult Shoreline support before editing or deleting this file
              WaveRinger1 L/rg 192.168.20.20/ringers/ctu24.wav
              WaveRinger2 L/r1 192.168.20.20/ringers/ctu24b.wav

Replace my ip address with yours and update the filename (must be in inetpub\ftproot\ringers

If the wave file is not in the right format, it will not work. I know the CTU files work, so you can try those if you want.

                  Directory

Where is the directory for the phone? I have searched everywhere I can think of but am not finding it. Thanks.

Which question? The original or mine? I actually had mine answered in a different post. Thanks by the way.

                          Phone Directory

I believe the question is asking where to put the file. The location is in the ftproot folder of the server.

                          Hope this helps.

As for the ringtones, where exactly would we install any additional .wav files before making edits to that CTU file? I've never added any ringtones, nor made edits, and won't do so until I learn more about it, thanks.
