  • Auto Route Calls

    I have a strange request where a customer is asking to have the system route to a particular extension as soon as it reads the caller ID. For example, if someone calls in on 515-222-2222 then the system auto routes to extension 125 with no user interaction. The system is only configured for analog lines. Thank you for your help.

    Shoretel Professional Services has written a program you can buy (Call Router) that does this on a system wide basis (you'd point your analog trunk group at a route point).

    If it is on an individual user basis, Personalized Call Handling rules with Professional Call Manager can do this.
