  • Web Access with AD integration on

I'm not able to get users logged into the web access when AD integration is turned on. I've tried every combination of username and password I can think of and it just tells me invalid login.

Is anyone successfully using Web Access with AD integration turned on?

I don't think it is possible yet.
AD integration just handles director and pcm authentication (as well as provisioning)
Hopefully as shoretel progress through the versions, the web access will be included.
Did you see my sharepoint post? I am hoping that if AD integration were available on shoreware web access page, then the user neednt be prompted to login.

Thanks for the info. It would be nice if that was in the documentation with AD integration somewhere. Thankfully our users don't even know the web access exists so its really not that big of a deal at this point.

The AD integration app note does outline that Web Client doesn't work with single signon, but it does work with AD integration on. I can logon using my windows user name (with out the domain pre-pended) and my windows domain password.

We had to get a fix from the TAC to make this work. It now works as long as we login using domain\username in the username field.

Do you know what the files that you got from TAC were called?

I am not 100% sure since the shoretel partner actually did this as part of our installation. He told me that it was the entire webclient so I assume it was the "F:\Program Files\Shoreline Communications\ShoreWare Server\ShoreWare WebClient" folder but I can't confirm that.

Our partner got us the file, they just gave us a new WebClient.asp which corrected the issue.
