Here's fun and it may be useful to somebody.
You can embed the shoreware web client into your sharepoint site so that users can login to change their call handling modes and other settings.
Here's how:

Add a "Page Viewer" Web Part to an empty page.
Modify the target url to:
http://{hqserver}/shorewarewebclient

Change the Title to : "Login to change your phone settings"

Adjust the height of the part to 380pixels.

It's also a good place to put links to user documentation about the phone system and anything else that is relavant.
