  • Unable to call number

I have two numbers that none of us in the building are able to dial. We dial 9 to get out plus the number (one 800.xxx.xxxx and another 866.xxx.xxxx). The phone doesn't even ring just drops back to "off hook". I have successfully dialed these numbers with my cell and other 800 numbers with our ShoreTel.

Could someone provide me with reasons as to why we can't dial these?

    Permissions on the user group?

Otherwise, I would say that you use Global Crossing! Haha!

If you're using an ISDN PRI i would recommend running a PRI trace to see if the call is getting out over the PRI, then determine if the carrier is sending the disconnect.. Also, some 800 customers may reject your call based on your CID, or if one is not sent..
