  • Mic does not work

    All,

    I have a client that I cannot get a mic to work. They are at a remote location. I have had them buy an USB headset. Once they disabled their firewall they can hear me but I can not hear them. When I call them the Answer button is grayed out. Anyone encounter this issue? Any ideas?

    I have had this issue before too. Normally it was the softphone not recognizing the headset.

    What version (build number) of Shoretel are you on?

      The issue was with the installation. The end user installed the software using Firefox instead of IE. I had them uninstall the software and had them install the software using the executable.
