  • Softphone disconnects calls randomly.

    Using Checkpoint VPN-1 firewall and Secureclient on pc side, user can make calls but they are terminated radomly in about 1.5 minutes. If I use a cisco VPN with pptp and windows vpn client, the problem goes away. What am I missing?

    Sounds like maybe the checkpoint is killing the session. I'm not at all familiar with checkpoint, but you should be able to set a protocol timeout or similar, or at least see if it is killing the session by turning on some logging.
