  • Prevent call from being used after hours

    I have a client who wants to make a phone unusable from 5pm to 5am. It needs to be fully functional the rest of the time. Any thoughts?

    Only thing I can think of would require the user toggle the phone off/on. For that, they could toggle Office Anywhere feature. Once toggled, the phone would list as 'Anonymous' (which you would configure to not have trunk access).

      This can also be done programmatically via a custom. The user assigned to the phone would be assigned to softswitch instead, making the phone available. Note that anyone who has a voicemail box and knows their password will still be able to assign their extension to this phone.
