I have having strange problems with my voicemail. My personal voicemail is set to send wave files, this worked for a few days, however, now I am receiving email notification instead of wav files. I checked and my account is set to wav files? Many other user are complaining that the system is inconsistent and sometimes send wav files but other times does not.. Is there anything I can do to ensure this works properly??

Random thought here (only because I was dealing with something similar to this) but do you have any restrictions on the size of attachments in emails on your email server? Is it possible the Shoretel server is working correctly but the message is being rejected due to size? Are you noticing that short messages make it to you, but the long vmails are not (ie. larger file size.)

Thanks for you reply, it is not the limit, it is set for 100MB. Scary - I know..

We have an issue where if the user forwards a voice mail through the call manager an alert will not be sent. Our third party support company can duplicate the issue on their network, we have repeatedly had Shoretel close the case as solved and send us the instructions to set up email from Shoretel.
