Is there a way to put a message out there before I route the number?

I am changing a phone number, but a lot of people have the old number. Is there a way to have a message saying, "My new number is ###, please change your records..." and then forward to the new number?

Create an auto attendant with the old extension number, record the greeting and set the time out to a low number (2000 ms) and then set the timeout command to transfer to your new extension.
