  • Cant add Auto Attendant to Contacts for drag and drop

We have several informational auto-attendants setup that our operators would love to add to the Contacts window to enable dragging and dropping the call to transfer callers to.

I thought of setting a hunt group and a workgroup to call that extension but both don't allow an auto attendant's extension because its not a real user.

    Any suggestions?

I don't have an operator CM to test it on, but how about a Route Point? Just create a route point with a Forward always destination of the desired AA. Just an idea, don't know if it will work or not.

I know this is an old post but in case anyone else has this issue.

What we do for our operators is select the "Create a new contact from scratch" then give it whatever name you want and under the phone numbers section add the extension in the business area.

It won't provide status of the auto attendant but you can drag and drop transfer. We're currently running 9.2 build 14.43.4900.0.
