softphone delay

Have you tried using a phone to see if you have the same delay, is everyone else getting a delay? I would look at what codec you are setup internally or your QOS on your network.

I'm guessing this is a no, but does anyone know if there is a way to get a little less delay out of softphones? It can be minorly annoying when on a conference call with someone that sits a couple of desks away and an outside party, especially if both people are on softphones.
