I just got my beta of the lifesize/shoretel speaker phone offering. Have not set it up yet, but if it works as well as it looks I am very excited. Just wanted to brag a bit

Your shoretel partner should be able to provide this information for you.

So this is a SIP phone, which means no PCM? When will they have a really good IP phone?

SIP Extension support will be addressed in the near-term, that should alleviate the akwardness with SIP devices and make this a non-issue.

That being said, you could use PCM if you do an external extension assignment to the off-system extension number of the phone.

I am not sure what there is negative about shoretel's ip phones. I have been very pleased with the quality of the 230 and 560 models we have. The ip8000 seems to be more of the same. It would be nice to be able to conference in people via pcm, but what you gonna do?
