          The sound from the iPhone side is good, but from there other end there seems to be static.

          I tried changing the codec on the iphone from auto to G722 (the only one I found listed on both the iphone app & shoretel director).

          I think it's a QOS issue, though my cisco guy says that's very unlikely.

          Any other suggestions?

            I've followed this structure and get the following results:
            my iPhone registers
            my extension rings to my handset
            my extension is able to call other extensions
            there is no audio

              ok - so reposting off my last post...I'm an idiot. Didn't realize that my bluetooth headset was on and in my briefcase. Works beautifully.

              Have you guys opened up your firewalls to the SIP site IP address? If so, using NAT or port forwarding?

              Also, how does it work when the app is not running?

                Our static issues was cisco related (not sure what though), and has been resolved.

                The thing I hate about it is that it does not work while the app is not running.
