Im looking for a way to setup an option on a auto attendant that will transfer the caller to a outside number (a cell phone) for emergency purposes. I know I can direct an option to an extension and I can set that extension to have a delayed ring down number but it does not seem to work. Is this the correct way to accomplish this or is there a better way?

Ok I created a route point and have it setup to always forward the call out to the emergency number. I then set the route point extension up as a go to extension option in the auto attendant. When I try the option from auto attendant I get a message stating that the extension is not valid and the main greeting repeats.
I have made sure the voicemails user group (voice mail notification) has a cos that allows trunk to trunk transfer but I'm not sure what I'm missing.Last edited by backspace; 03-24-2009, 02:20 PM.
