  • Problems Dialing a Workgroup Ext

    When I call into the system from outside and dial the extenion for a workgroup, I get a not valid message. However, when I'm in the office, I can dial the extension fine. Obviously, I must be missing some simple setting somewhere?

        We had a similar issue after moving a switch from one site to another. Everything seemed to be working from that site except transferring calls to a workgroup.

        Finally noticed from the Switch Connectivity page that the "new" switch was not communicating with the Softswitch. A reboot of the server corrected the problem.

          Not sure about dialing the extension from the auto attendant (I suppose that is what you are doing), but I had trouble accessing a workgroup via DID. It turned out to be an issue that was fixed via hotfix and then again by an update.
