  • Phone only rings once (not find me)

    Hello everyone,

I have a question that I hope won't be too hard to answer but I can't figure it out.

I have a co worker that somehow managed to change some settings on her phone so that it only rings once. The problem is that find me is not on.

So the phone rings once and doesn't ring again (it sounds only once)

    Any help?

Here are some pics of the settings so you know what I am talking about

    Ringer

Does she have a custom ringtone? If there was a ringtone with 10 seconds of blank space after the sound, it would only ring once.......

number of rings is not really the number of times the ringtone will sound, it is more of a time value. Each ring is like 4 seconds or something.

a 20 second ringer will not really ring for 60 seconds.......

Is it possible that the phone ringer volume is turned all the way down and the one ring that they are hearing is actually the PCM wave file playing through their computer?

Sounds like the "it" that needed fixing was the user. The ShoreTel phone was working just fine.
