  • "PCM.EXE failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135)" error

New installation via GPO (also tried via MSIEXEC and SETUP.EXE) give the error "PCM.EXE failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135)".

Is this a reload windows issue?:whistling:

    Thanks in advance.

ShoreTel has an Application note on deploying via Active Director. It is a very good generic instruction for pushing this out. My apologies I do not remember the app note Number, Search for Active Directory :thumbup1:

I figured this out, the machine was missing .net framework 2.0 - i just added it as part of my shoretel install group policy and all is well.
