    What is BurstaTrunk?
    BurstaTrunk is a service option for SureTrunking, the world’s only managed SIP trunking solution that connects natively to the ShoreTel platform. With the BurstaTrunk service, ShoreTel customers can seamless manage their digital voice usage and never have to pay for unnecessary PRI/BRI subscriptions ever again.

    How does BurstaTrunk work?
    Any SureTrunk customers can subscribe to BurstaTrunk as an optional monthly service. The service automatically monitors call volume, adding additional trunks based on the amount of concurrent usage.

    Are there any prerequisites for BurstaTrunk…or any hardware requirements?
    Because SureTrunk is a managed SIP trunking solution, customers have no additional hardware requirements aside from the ShoreTel switch. Any SureTrunk customer that subscribes to six (6) or more SureTrunk lines is eligible to add BurstaTrunk as a service.

    What is the cost?
    $50 … just to be clear, that’s NOT a per-trunk charge – that is simply the monthly cost!

    Who ideally benefits from BurstaTrunk?
    Depending on call volume and the number of concurrent calls at any given location, BurstaTrunk may represent significant cost savings for any small- to medium-sized businesses that rely on ShoreTel to power their unified communications.
