  • Voice mail .Wav files are auto deleting randomly

    Hello Guys,

On my system, users are reporting that the voice mail .WAV files are disappearing randomly. Only a small fraction get lost. As a result they cannot playback the file in Outlook.

    Question is:
How to adjust voicemail auto delete options on the Director Server?

I had an issue with this one time.

We had a user that had the option "Use outlook as my default voice mail client" on the shoretel call manager settings, checked. The user could get voicemails, but they would delete right away. I would check that option.

What happens if we do not check that box? Will the user be able to playback their voice mail in Outlook?
