  • out of service

    Anyone seen a shoretel phone do the following:
    in director it has a status of out of service (operational) and the user can make calls, but not use the directory on the phone. I tried to put it in service, but nothing happens. I tried to reset it from director and nothing happened. I had the user so the reset sequence, andit came back the same way. I finally had her pull the network cable and put it back, and it was ok for a minute or two, but now is back the same out of service (operational) status. Thanks

        I have seen this before I have deleted the phone had the user unplug it and plug it back in and reassign it to the user and see if that works. It did for me.

          looks like that fixed it. Would be nice to know what caused it, but atleast it is working now. Thanks
