Call Manager and Softphone Ports

bluepoint and others, we are attempting this same scenario. the only configuration that appears to work includes our exposing every tcp and udp port 10.24 -65000 to all endpoints in our distributed VOIP network... ouch! has anyone found another way to tie these ports down to a smaller range?

Issue: SoftPhone Ports

Scenario: To help our network admin we would like to know which ports the ShoreTel SoftPhone utilizes.

Resolution: The following ports are used for the IP SoftPhone:

UDP: 5004 for voice packets

UDP: 2427 IP phones listen on this port - MGCP receive port

UDP: 2727 Switches listen on this port - MGCP receive port

Can you tell me what are those ports for the PCM.

pcm on V8 also uses ports 3166 and 3168, but you wont find it in the documentation.

I am trying to find what ports that the Shortel Call Manager and Softphone use. Can anyone help me out? I have been searching on the shoretel website for about 2 hours now.
