If you're on a call, press Park and then enter the extension where you want to park the call.
You might be thinking of Call Park like a Nortel Norstar, where when you press Call Park, it puts the call into a virtual zone and automatically assigns a code to the call. The ShoreTel doesn't work this way and threw me off at first. I did create park zones within the ShoreTel to make it act like a Norstar but Call Park on the ShoreTel works fine once you get used to it.

If it is a function oyu use a lot (Say A Dr Office) you can prgram a button to park and another to pick up.
Lets say oyu have 3 Dr.s in one office, so you want each Dr to be able to pick up his or hers specific parked call.
On the Phone(s) you will establish the Park feature your going to establish a Park button and assign it a specific Ext Only
To Expand
Dr 1 = Park 1 (Ext 1)
Dr 2 = Park 2 (ext 2)
Dr 3 = Park 3 (ext 3)
The Receptionist phone will have 3 Distinct Buttons Programed Park and Announce
Dr 1
Dr 2
Dr 3
Now on every phone in the office your going to program a Pick up Button to retrieve the park for Dr1 - Dr3
The receptionist can then take a call for Dr3 press the Park button for Dr3 and then announce (Aka Site Broadcast) Call for Dr 3
the Dr can then go to any phone and press the Dr3 button to pick up that call.
This may or may not be what your asking, but it also may help in your design. To mannually park a call using DTMF it is *11 plus the Extension you want to park the call on to retrieve the call it is *12 plus the ext
Dr 3
