  • Incorrect time on some 230's

Have a situation that 4 sets have the incorrect date and time. Have removed them and put them back in. Unplugged the sets, yep done that. The time stays corrected for about an hour and then reverts.

I thought I read a thread in here about this on the forum. Can't seem to find it through search.

Any ideas appreciated and if any one remembers the thread I'd like to know where it is.

Something is blocking NTP from the Phone. All the IP phone is doing is listening at the point after it gets its NTP on initial Boot.

You may have more then one NTP server broadcasting.

    Questions
1: IS NTP IP Static on the phone or DHCP
2: If DHCP do you have Option 156 enabled as well as 4 and or 42
3: If Static can you place a Public NTP like time.microsoft.com in the phone and test

Also check the timezone setting on the phone in the setup options.

Mic Mute Button + setup (73887) then hit pound #

Timezone, you can get that from Mute/setup? I guess I'll have to try that.
