  • Why can you only record trunk calls and not extension to extension?

    I have not been able to figure this out, why only trunk calls? Is it because extension to extension is between the two phones only while a trunk call has to go through the switch?

    There are times when it would be really nice to be able to record extension to extension calls for training purposes, etc.

    hmmm. Never knew that until now.

    That is kind of wierd.

    Wonder if there is a setting in ShoreWare Director.

      It is a big flaw in my opinion.

      Forget training, how often is it necessary to record a co-workers (or superiors) instructions on a task for future CYA.

      I have had people to tell me to do something that I know is going to be an issue. The only solution left is to say, "Can you put that in an email and send it to me" after they just told you on the phone.
