  • ShoreTel Connect

Just came across this and it made me start to wonder what is coming. So I searched and found this.

    http://it.toolbox.com/blogs/voip-new...-to-know-68376

I'm on prem only and have a small installation, 2 - 220T1A's and 65 or so IP485G phones and a few IP480's. Maybe the new software release will finally make use of the USB port on the back of the phone. I just hope it doesn't require new switches or phones. Also since I am fairly new to ShoreTel would this release be a no cost upgrade with current support?

More information can be found here: http://made2order.net/shoretel-15-shoretel-connect/
When is ShoreTel 15 Due to be Released? Well it's not. Shoretel are releasing a new platform called ShoreTel Connect 1.0. They are saying this their biggest upgrade ever.

Cool, thanks for posting. It's nice to know the 4xx phones and current switches will be supported. I'm still holding out hope for a USB bluetooth receiver though, since there is a bluetooth off-hook preference in Director that does nothing...

I'd like to know more about the cloud/on prem hybrid deployment.
