  • Deleting the redial number on the phone

I have a exec that wants to be able to delete the numbers available for redial to ensure that someone does not walk up behind him and see who he was talking to. Is this possible to do from the phone ? Is it possible to turn off redial all together by telephone? Thanks.

          Clear redial

You can have the phone on the softswitch, log into voicemail, and press 731 to assign or 732 to unassign. This will also clear the redial list.

            External Assignment

Another way is to use PCM to set the phone to External assignment and set it back. It's a total of 6 mouse clicks.

Or if you want to cut it down to two clicks, you can set up two toolbar buttons, one that assigns phone to last assigned external number, and another that sends the phone back home.
