  • Outbound NAME caller ID on PRI (T1)

Is it possible to have Outbound NAME caller ID be sent using a PRI (T1) on a ShoreTel ?

  • #2
Caller ID works that you push your TN out your T1 and your carrier should register the name that you want associated with the TN. This is not ShoreTel specific but how any system would work with a T1 line.

You may need to log in to Director under support entry mode, and add ;2E under custom dial strings on your PRI trunk group in question.

          Caller ID

When calls are forwarded to another number, is there any way to unblock the caller ID AND send the original caller ID, rather than the trunk ID?
