  • Music On Hold - Question

    Hi All

I've setup an audio source to pipe music through to callers when they are on hold. This is working fine for external calls - but if I put an internal call on hold e.g. Extension 831 calls 832 and 832 puts the call on hold - I don't hear the on hold music.

Should this be the case? Or should I hear the MoH?

    Many Thanks

    Sheps

Looks like music on hold for internal calls is not provided. The Planning and Installation guide states the following:
NOTE: IP phone users will not receive music on hold when they are on an internal call.

Yep, No MOH for internal users. That would mean streaming individual audo streams to each of the phones on hold. Not effiecent use of bandwidth.
