  • SIP MW Indicator

    Has anyone possibly gotten the MW Indicator working through SIP at all? This pertains to the rest of the questions i've had in the past, however, We're already using Callegra UC for our Voicemail thats connected to Cisco Call Manager by SMDI, however, we want to use Shoretel for a specific voicemail solution, without the PBX functionality, just a straight voicemail system, the only problem we're running into is, normally, The Shoretel Voicemail Server would pass it to the Shoretel Switch (PBX) via SMDI, but we're not using the PBX, it would essentially, go from the voicemail server, get passed through the switch, and into Cisco Call Manager, via a Sip Trunk. The MWI is our main hangup right now. Any thoughts or ideas?

    SIP MW will be supported by Shoretel when they support SIP Extensions. Currently they only support SIP trunks. Sip Extensions is on the roadmap, I just don't know when.
