The new forum software has alot of cool new features, but I wanted to point out the difference here. If you view somebody's profile on this site, and leave a "Visitor Message", it is public and can be read by anybody. It more than likely will be picked up by google, and spread around the world within 8-10 hours (apparently, google loves this site too).
Private messages are just that, Private (not even I can access those).
So...Visitor = public, Private = Private
And to the person that left me a visitor message, I deleted it
. Let's hope google didn't pick that up in the 2 hours it was there.
And yes...Google does index this site pretty frequently. I've seen posts hit google within 5-7 hours of being posted.
