  • Deleting a user.

    Has anyone got a step by step guide to deleting a user using the SQL database? for times when the customer has added a user and we are locked out of director

    I don't think that's a very good idea, a user can be found in at least 2 tables- users and dn... and are probably linked to other tables as well.
    Are you locked out of director because of the extra user, and you just want to delete that extra user to get director unlocked? If that's the case, then I guess I would try the users table as that is where it says which license type they have. But I really don't know.

    If you're a partner, and have access to license keys from other customers, you could borrow one to unlock director, just delete after as you won't get a new system key when you upgrade.

      They are linked in other tables, at least a dozen are possible and maybe more. Some things are simple to fix in the DB, but user DNs that could be all over the place and you have no way to know if you got them all....very risky.
