  • Handset stopped working

    I have a user who's handset just stopped working. Phone only works on speakerphone. I replaced the phone and moved him on the switch. Handfree mode is OFF. Any ideas?

    May sound dumb but we have had several users unplug their handset to untangle the cord and then plug it back in to the headset port.

      This happens ALL THE TIME...

      It'd be helpful if Shoretel added an icon on the side of the phone for headset/handset ports. I know it's already underneath, but honestly, who's gonna lift up the phone to see. As soon as the see the port, they just plug it in.

        I'm 98% sure thats what it is, plugged into the wrong port.

        Also, this belongs in the Administrators forum, or maybe the installers, but its not an update, bug, or suggestion for Shoretel Forums...
