  • Shoretel Suggestion - Email Notification Voicemail Nearly Full

    Currently when a users mailbox is full that person is not aware of this untill they login to their voicemil service. It would be great if a user could be Emailed when the mailbox is at 80/90% capacity. We only allow numbers to have 60 messages at any given time.

    Voicemail accounts that are available externally are becoming full and so another message cannot be created.

    ShoreTel already does...Look under Users\Personal Options
    Scroll down to the bottom of the page and look for 'Escalation Profiles and Other Mailbox Options' - click on it and set-up your e-mail address and select the check box.

      It would be nice if it would send the email at sometime BEFORE the limit is reached, not just after the limit is reached. If the person is not around to clear out some items immediately, voicemails would never be recorded.

        Voicemails can be cleared remotely by several mechanisms as well as being able to set them to be auto deleted after a set number of days from 9.1 (I think that was the first version that offered it) on.
