  • Global Toolbar

    I was viewing the tutorial on shoretel's website and saw where the call manager client had some extra buttons available IT Helpdesk and Call IT. I have figured out they were added using a global toolbar but I haven't figured out what exactly the purpose of the IT Helpdesk button. I know the Call IT is a dial number but wanted to know if the other was a way to generate an email to the helpdesk since the call manager can be integrated with outlook.

    I have no idea what you are talking about, but perhaps this should be under "Installers" or "Administrators"...You posted this under Shoretel Forums Updates, Bugs, and Suggestions...

      You can make this work by programming a button with "Invoke URL" and setting the link to mailto:emailaddre[email protected] The only problem is, in addition to popping up my email client it also opens a IE window too.

      A better way to do this is to use the "Invoke Command Line" option and entering the mailto:... in the target.
