  • Fax request

I would like the capability of setting a 'Call Stack' of '0', at least for analog ports. A major trouble issue on analog fax machines, is not being able to present a 'Busy' when it is busy. I have customers complaining that they have customers complaining of 'Ring-no-Answer'. I have recommended adding another Fax machine or even a Fax server. They are not interested, they want a busy when busy...If anyone has a work around, please pass it along?

    Call Stack

I dont know, I am really asking....

if you set the call stack to 1, the other end doesnt hear a busy tone with the analog line is on a call? It just rings?

That is correct...give it a test... the 3rd call will get a Busy.
One sending a Fax, 2nd in Queue (Call Stack), 3rd will get a busy.

Unless you program a 'No Answer' Destination.

Update...if you have a call stack of '1' and set the call handle mode to 'never' you will get a busy signal on the 2nd call.

          Never Mind on the request...
