I have for sale several used switches for sale -
(1) 120/24 (2) 60/12 (1) 40/8 I have licenses, but I don't think they are transferrable. If anyone is interested, make me a reasonable cash offer. Located in Los Angeles, will consider delivery. |

I'm going to put a damper on all this bud/beer stuff with a little reality. Sorry.
![]() Licenses are NOT transferable. Not only that, but in order to be supported by ShoreTel, they will need to be "re-certified". Last I checked this is a $750 fee per switch. |

ST sells the scrapped SG's to recyclers, there is nothign in the SG, but a 1U box and MB, no memory, DSP Firmware Nada. ST keeps track of the MACs and Serials. I got a call on morning form this poor feller in India, he bought a SG off Ebay for his home thinking it was like a Lynsys router but for Voip. He got furious with us, because it did not work But in all fairness, I will send you a picture of me and Jay Leno Talking at the Laguna Historics races last weekend and a case of beer, plus $44.97 ![]()

Personally, the fact that Shoretel does everything in it's power to make sure resale value is nothing is a little upsetting. |

Why do they do that, the money is not in the hardware it is in licensing and support. So you buy a switch for cheaper, it doesn't work if you don't have licensing for it.
Just like in the cell phone business, they can give you a phone for free if you agree to a contract. I would say they are not hurting for revenue. |

I'm not sure if you are still looking for a buyer, but interested in the 120/25. Please let me know how much you are selling this device for. We are in need of one temporarily until our digital line comes in but renting one is really too much.
Thanks in advance |
