I was right, other iPhones are being requested by the execs. Hopefully, ShoreTel sees that iPhones are making their way into the workplace in a big way and will offer an app of some sort.

Good. Like them or not, iPhone are here to stay in the corporate environment. Hopefully, ShoreTel realizes this...and it sounds like they may.

I hear that if they do this it will be done in .net, becasue it can port easily between PC and Mac.

PCM on a MAC

I'm running PCM on an iMac running Parallels Desktop. It works perfectly. The issue most folks have had is buying an XP License for Parallels. But that's the 8th layer of the IP stack, right?

Has anyone upgraded to 9.1 and can they confirm that this is indeed a Java client. The release notes don't specify support for Mac's.

Just wondering.

For our mac user's, we are currently putting VM Fusion no their mac's, and installing windows as a work around.

Yes we are running several clients on 9.1 (although we are holding off so we can get an earlier look at 10.0) and no it is not a Mac compatible Java program. As far as I can tell it is still the same old Call Manager with a few tweaks to match the new system features, no major changes from 8.1

Notch a vote in for me too!

Come on Shoretel.
The rest of the world is realising that Apple is making an impact...
We love your PCM on our Windows PC's - but hate the fact that about 50% of our company can't use it on their MAC's.
