Perhaps what you got was faulty? Run the application called keyutils and post the screenshots. You should see in the left-most tab how many supervisors you have in the dongle.

I had an opportunity a while back to speak with one of the Senior Contact Center guys at Shoretel about how to move from a dongle environment to a dongleless environment.

Essentially what he said was that if you had a supervisor license on a dongle, then you would have to either stay with the dongle or purchase a new "dongleless" license to replace the old "dongled" license.

For whatever reason Shoretel never took into consideration people like you and me... who have a current 4.65 install and purchased dongle license .... we want to get rid of ALL dongles and moved to total "dongleless". They seem to have only implemented "dongleless" license on new licenseing.

Hopefully they have rectified this, and my information is outdated.... but this conversation took place in April 2009.
