dialing from mailbox

I am running 8.0 13.9.5704 and I am finding that I can't dial an extension from a mailbox. Did this feature goaway? Do I need to upgrade?

Once in someone's mailbox and listening to their greeting, dial a valid extension number and be transferred to that extension.

We are running the same build and I can dial out to another ext. Is st8 5704 your first upgrade to 8 from one of the 7 or 7.5 versions? Because I can tell you that when we upgrade from 7.5 to 8 for some reason a lot of settings changed back to default. So there is a good chance that may have occured. I don't know if there is a permission that would allow the X-fer from a mailbox, but its something to look at.

No this is a fresh multi site install.
