Conference Bridge + SIP Trunks?

Does anybody have some real-live experience with the ShoreTel conference bridge while using SIP trunks?

I believe I have to have a ShoreGear switch that I link the conference ports to, and I assume I can just use SIP trunks just as if I used PRI trunks. I believe I also have to use g711 because I doubt g729 conferencing/transcoding is supported.

Now, this should all work in theory, but I just want to see if anyone has had success with this before I get this going for a customer.
