I am trying to send calls to a personal extension voicemail box. Is there a way to do this? The call is in the ECC software and cannot get a good clean way of transferring the call directly to a voicemail box. My one idea is to build an Auto-Attendant that will "Transfer to vm" for the personal extension we want the VM to go to. I have not tested this and am also not sure if I will be able to get the a CCS Script to send the right information to the AA. I hope someone else has a cleaner way of doing this.

I have now tested using a shoretel AA with a transfer to vm option but in the ECC i cannot call this AA and also have it press a number on the AA. Does anyone know of a good way to get a ECC Script that will call a 5 digit ext. and then also press 1 or 2 or so on?

see if you can send it to a Hunt group ( no members ) Forward on rna/busy to an AA after 1 ring . Set the AA with the timeout = 0 and 1 second of silence recorded. timeout field is set to take messge at the vm box you want the call to go to.

have similar problem let me know if you get working response contractor that solves problem for single user but not for multiple users. theres got to be some clean way to get to voice mail from an external call. e.g NEC systems dial main number and precede your extension with 9 automatically activates voice mail. how hard can it be |
