I found a great program for integrating ShoreTel with Act! and Goldmine databases. It is called ActPhone. Once installed, I open up Goldmine and go to a contact page. On that page there are locations for phone number 1, 2 and 3. I then can go down to the tool bar and select ActPhone - I will be presented with the option to dial one of the 3 phone numbers for the contact. The program will even update your database that you made contact with the person. I believe it will also update the database when the person calls you, but I did not have caller ID on the trunk when testing out, so I can not confirm it works.
Software provided by: PlanITsolutions. 888-989-0890 agaskill@planits.com Ryland Marshall Certified ShoreTel System Engineer Any comments that I make are purely my opinion. I am not a ShoreTel employee and do not represent them in any way, other then loving the product. Any advise that I may give is to be used at your own risk, I can not take responsibility for any harm that my come from your decision to use my advise. Where can I find this for download, I have no intention of contacting them via email first unless I know more about the software. Is this available online at all or only if they send it to me?
