So, is your issue specific to the Esker Fax server? I think most fax servers operate basically the same. Maybe you should re-phrase your post to a more specific question.

I do not have an issue, just asking a general question if anyone has used esker with shortel. I know most systems function the same on the backend, just curious if anyone has had a positive/negative experience with a Shoretel/Esker implementation. Plus when I present my project plan, I would like to tell the VP that I have found x other comnpanies that have had no issues with esker & shoretel

Only reason we are looking at esker is the possible addition of the SAP piece for us in the future. . Thanks!

Figured I would give this a little bump as we get closer to implementing an Esker Fax solution. I know it "should" work just fine, but would love to verify :-)

I like Esker, I have used it stand alone on the end of some BRI lines. I havnt used it with ShoreTel before, but it should be alright given that it can use Brooktrout fax boards like all the other do.

Thanks for confirming Sean. Are there any pitfalls to be aware of?

Not that I have seen anything with shortel anf esker.

Only with the Esker software, onetime debugging was turned on and we ran low on disk space on our fax server once. We used to have to restart the fax service every once in awhile.

Other than that it works fine, dont ever have to touch it really... just runs ^_^
